In this Class you will learn:

  • stage etiquette
  • open mic protocall
  • joke structure
  • basic comedy vocabulary
  • comedy business essentials
  • how to not bomb
  • and much much more!

This fun intensive standup comedy workshop is designed for anyone who has ever wanted to try, or learn about stand up comedy.

Over the course of four weeks you will learn about the craft of standup comedy.

Class takes place March, 3rd, 10th, 17th, from 6-8pm (but sometimes goes long) with the Graduation show being March 24th at 8pm.

Class and graduation are located at Club Comedy

    328 15th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112

Through practice and experimentation, each student works towards the goals they set for class themselves, and are coached toward them individually.

In less than a month everyone will build a 3-5 minute set and at the end of the course you will have the opportunity to perform that set in front of a live audience, at a real comedy club.

Each class involves exercises and workshops designed to give students a crash course in performing.

"My goal is to have everyone who takes my class  can walk away from graduation with more tools and know-how than the average three year comic" - Taylor

At the end of this course there will be a comedically and culturally diverse guest comic avaialble for questions and feedback so as to give more perspective on comedy than just that of the instructor.

Students will also receive free tickets to multiple shows during the month of class, and are encouraged to participate in as many open mics as possible. The idea is to spend the month around as much time around live comedy as you can.

This class comes with a "no bomb" guarantee or your money back!

Over 200 comedy 101 grads and no-one has bombed their graduation show yet!
